| Moving Image Production Workshops held in Khua Sak and Tedim |

The Communication Section of the Myanmar Council of Churches launched two media workshops on 25-28 March and 30 March-2 April 2009. The former workshop was held at Khau Sak, the first Hill Chin Christian Community (1905), and the latter one at Lawi Bual Baptist Church inTedim for Christian Community in the area. See video please go to http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=99ef851c45948c7ad2db6fb9a8902bda Media Workshop in Khua Sak was based on Siyin Region Baptist Association and Siyin Christian Community (SCC) and there were 12 selected participants from the community. There were 13 selected media enthusiasts from CMBC and Lawi Bual Baptist Church at the Media Workshop in Tedim. Subjects imparted are Concepts of Communication and media, Basic Concepts of ICT and Computer by Rev. Raymond Pome Za Lyan, camera movements and angles, compositions, and the Arts of Production by Saya Aye Ko Min, Computer based editing with Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 platform by Sayama Nway Nway Ko . Participants of each of the media Workshop have a video production at the conclusion MIPWs and these productions can be seen at. It is very exciting to have their own video production with local people in their own region. The quality of production will be improved as they step further into the media platform and it is believed that their abilities will be a tool for the glory of God, Creator of all.
