Myanmar Council of Churches appointed Rev. Doh Doh Wah of Kanbe Baptist Church to be the Executive Secretary of the Mission and Ecumenism Department. He was born on 19 June 1958 in Yangon. He is a graduate of the BSc (Physic) from Rangoon Arts and Science University and he earned Bachelor of Divinity from MICT in 1985.

He served as a Missionary of MBC cum Principal of the Naga Baptist Bible College for 5 years in Khamti. And he came back to serve his mother Church in Kanbe, Yangon for a couple of years (1991-1992). After that he dedicated to be the associate director of the Evangelism and Mission Department of the Myanmar Baptist Convention (1993-1999). After that he became Director of the E&M Department until 2008.

He was appointed to the present position with effect from 1^st April 2009 at the Myanmar Council of Churches.

He comes with a Vision and Mission to the National Ecumenical Body of this country:

(a)    to empower member Churches towards Mission oriented Churches,

(b)   and to promote cooperation among the member Churches in Mission endeavors,

(c)    and also to promote cooperation with non-member Churches of the MCC.

He married Ms Tin Tin Yone in 1989 and they have two daughters and a son. His wife

also serves the Church as a minister.
